Fine Arts/Children's Pastor Brooke Kendall


Brooke Kendall came to Village West Family Church as the music and fine arts pastor in August of 2010. In addition to her duties as a staff pastor she assists her husband Ken as he leads the congregation. Ken and Brooke have three children: Brendan, Brienna and Bryson.

Brooke grew up in the Midwest with Topeka Kansas as her home town. She started her musical journey learning to play the piano at age 5 and continued through high school. Brooke attended Central Bible College and received her Associate of Arts in Sacred Music. Through the years Brooke has served as the Kansas Assemblies of God Music director and worked actively with the state's fine arts program.

Brooke served in the music department at New Life Assembly from 1990-1993, served as minister of music at First Assembly of God, Topeka, Kansas from 1993-1996 and lead worship at Evangel Assembly from 1999-2004. In 2004 the family moved to Maryland to assume lead pastor roles at Faith Community Church and Brooke became the music and fine arts pastor there until August of 2010.

She has lead numerous choirs over the years ranging from children's musicals, youth musicals and fine arts to full fledge drama and music productions put on by adult choirs. She leads the worship band and arranges all special music and drama at the church.
